Welcome to DEFY BAGS, where what were once outdoor vinyl billboards are handcrafted into custom-designed bags. The old paradigm of using materials once and then throwing them away is antiquated. The very existence of our bags defies that premise. And the spirit of that defiance is the inspiration behind the name of our company.

DEFY BAGS are the new green. Green as self-expression. Green as must-have. Green that defies that green has to look, well, green.

Just look at the outside of any DEFY BAG if you need convincing. Perfectly proportioned for today’s lifestyles, you’ll find defiant expressions that give each bag a life all its own. This is fashion as commentary. (To our designers, the back or “white side” of the billboards is the perfect canvas – a sketchpad, if you will, to express our random observations and POV of society, politics, arts and culture.)

Now take a peek inside one of our bags. You’ll get a glimpse of its past life. It may have tried to seduce you into buying a 280-horsepower sports car. Or persuaded you to whiten your teeth. Or even offered up a solution to erectile dysfunction.

We imagined a bag made from recycled materials. But in the process, we’ve created a company whose mission is to turn the world of fashion accessories inside out. With the inside, old. And the outside, new.
