This Gripper is rugged like the old West of Yellowstone—the kind of handle that could ride off into the sunset on its own. It’s got more texture than a cowboy’s face after a week in the saddle, but it feels much softer (no offense cowboy). Skip Horween himself handed us this leather, as he was curious to see what kind of bada$$ery we’d create with it. Don’t wait too long, though—stampedes happen, and time waits for no one.
