It’s only fitting that DEFY, born and built in Chicago, is releasing a very Limited Edition Dopp Kit in Horween’s rich, oil-tanned Rookery Leather x Buffalo Plaid Wax Canvas. After all, our city is where Charles Doppelt first designed the very first Dopp kit nearly a century ago. Call it tradition. Call it destiny.

We hand-select our hides in person at the century-old Horween Leather Tannery, just a few miles from our shop. Every piece is cut, skived, and stitched by a team with over 80 years of combined leather-working experience. No shortcuts. No imports. Just American-born materials and the hands that know how to shape them.

A 1” hand-cut Horween leather loop lets you hang it from a single finger or wall hook. A Made in the USA antique brass YKK zipper opens with vintage authority. Inside, 5.6 oz Buffalo Plaid TexWax™ waxed cotton lining greets you with a pop of Americana every time you reach for it. Oh yeah, and it matches your other Rookery Leather bag if you were lucky enough to snag one!
