The Defender Daytripper in Horween Cavalier Whiskey Leather x Autumn Plaid TexWax™ is built for those who appreciate the finer things but still fully intend to beat the hell out of them.

We start with Horween Cavalier Whiskey leather chosen in person at the iconic Horween Leather Tannery in Chicago. Rich, warm, and loaded with character right out of the gate. It's the kind of leather that makes people reach out and touch it without asking. The kind that develops a deeper patina with every trip, every meeting, every mile traveled. It doesn't stay new. Thankfully.

Then you open it.

Autumn Plaid TexWax™ canvas lines the interior, bringing a completely different personality to the party. Rugged. Familiar. The sort of material that feels like it belongs in an old hunting lodge, a vintage field jacket, or next to a campfire somewhere you probably can't get cell service. It adds structure, durability, and just enough unexpected character to make this Defender unlike anything else we've built.

At 10" wide x 11" tall x 3" deep, the Defender Daytripper is intentionally compact. Big enough for your iPad, notebook, chargers, daily essentials, and the things you actually use. Small enough that it never feels like you're hauling around more than you need. The kind of bag that quietly becomes part of your everyday routine.

A solid steel AustriAlpin™ COBRA® buckle secures the front flap with the kind of confidence usually reserved for military equipment and things attached to helicopters. Overbuilt? Absolutely. That's sort of our thing.

The detachable shoulder strap is built from 4,000-pound MIL-SPEC webbing and finished with military-grade metal hardware and Horween leather trim. It's probably capable of handling significantly more responsibility than your average workday, but we're happy to let it carry your essentials instead.

At just 2.5 pounds, it carries lighter than its rugged appearance would suggest, while still feeling substantial enough to remind you you're carrying something built to last.

Handcrafted in Chicago using Horween leather tanned just a few miles from our workshop, military-grade materials, industrial machines, and a complete refusal to cut corners.
