Have sternum, will travel! This sternum strap is made in Chicago using adjustable 1" MIL-SPEC Webbing and the most rad, imported 1" AustriAlpin™ COBRA® Quick Release buckle. The buckle alone costs $30 and can hold 1,000 lbs. It'll hold your pack just fine! This newest iteration sports a very small but important unsung hero: a 1" matte black steel triglide that not only makes the length of the strap adjustable, but helps to keep any excess webbing from flapping around.
